Macák Ernest

* 1920, † 2016

As a monk, a Salesian, he was interned in Šaštín, later on in Podolínec, from where he was successful in escaping. He was caught by the Secret State Police during an organized mass escape of young order brothers over the border in September 1952 in Přerov. After a brutal torture in communist jail, he decided to play a lunatic. After a stay at the psychiatric wards and electroshock therapy he was released and played a lunatic for 14 more years. He later emigrated to Italy.
