A. Púčik, A. Tunega and E. Tesár were executed

At the beginning of 1949, the Secret State Police arrested almost 50 people; according to report regarding the detection and destruction of group Albert Púčik et. al. „were active in anti-state activities from 1947 until their arrest, in relation to People´s emigration and American CIC“. In May 1949 group Púčik et. al. were trialled by a martial court of the state court in Bratislava. On the 21th May 1949 A. Púčik, A. Tunega, E. Tesár and Ľ. Gálik were sentenced for life and P. Cintavý for 30 years of prison. The prosecutor appealed the decision and the High Court in Prague decided on a death sentence for Púčik, Tunega a Tesár. They were all executed on the 20th February 1951.
